What do we work on within the group?
In Switzerland, almost half of all young people suffer from stress and pressure to perform. In the group we activate together your existing as well as new resources to strengthen your mental health and learn different tools for stress prevention. We mute our inner critic voices so that we can experience more moments of happiness in our often stressful everyday lives.

Group therapy offers a network of solidarity for young people with similar challenges in their current life situation. The exchange of experiences as well as information among participants not only creates a sense of belonging, but also trains competent experts and mitigates the effects of stress.

Who am I?
My name is Daniel Sigrist Daniel Sigrist
I am a psychologist and yoga teacher. I studied psychology at the University of Zurich and then completed further training in psychological online counseling in Vienna. Due to my many years of teaching at various schools, I can draw on a wealth of experience in working with children, adolescents and their parents.

HOW EXACTLY CAN I IMAGINE A SESSION WITHIN THE GROUP?
You will receive helpful information from psychology and benefit from the exchange of experiences with your peers. You'll get to know your needs better with various exercises and strengthen your mental health in the long term with tools for stress prevention. Sharing is always voluntary.
WHY DON'T I JUST ATTEND AN INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING SESSION?
The question is not so much either-or, but rather both-as well. Group therapy is an excellent complement to the insights gained and strategies learned in individual counseling to practice within the group. However, they can also be attended independently.
WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE IS GROUP THERAPY APPROPRIATE FOR ANYWAY?
Group therapy is suitable for all adolescents who are currently struggling with the various challenges of growing up and the pressure to perform in our society. Within the group you will learn to confidently go your own way into the future.
WHAT EXACTLY ARE THE GOALS OF GROUP THERAPY?
Group therapy offers a network of solidarity and thus creates a feel-good atmosphere. Within the group, you learn from each other new coping strategies for dealing with everyday challenges. You express your needs more often and strengthen your self-reflection.

Group therapy takes place weekly with the same participants (max. 8 people) to guarantee a continuous quality.

Time: Tuesday, 16.30-18.00 / Wednesday, 13.30-15.00
