What is coaching?
Coaching is used as an umbrella term for different consulting methods, for example individual coaching, team coaching, leadership coaching or project coaching. This already shows how versatile such a method can be used. Different concerns can be looked at and processed in a short time. In coaching, success can be achieved within a short time and thus belongs to the short-term therapy. Of course, coaching can also take place over a longer period of time, so that current issues can be addressed again and again. As in psychosocial counseling, in such cooperation the focus is on the own development of the solution. Stress reduction, emotional relief, change of perspective or increased self-reflection are a few of the many topics which are gladly processed with coaching. The coach or the consultant is a neutral companion and helps through the view of an outsider, to new thought processes. In the conversation it is therefore always important to work actively and interactively. With different exercises and interventions you will be accompanied on your solution path. It is important to remain flexible and open to new ideas. Motivation and the will to change are a must, as with all self-experiences.
